Medical Services – Telecommute Nationwide – Program Integrity Administrator
The North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is seeking a Program Integrity Administrator for its Medical Services Division to lead program integrity efforts and strategy in North Dakota Medicaid. North Dakota Medicaid provides health care access to 1 in 6 North Dakotans and plays a vital role in shaping healthcare in North Dakota. North Dakota Medicaid services children, low-income families and adults, elderly adult, and individuals with disabilities.
As the Program Integrity Administrator, you’ll direct the development, implementation and maintenance of contracts, policies and procedures for the Surveillance Utilization Review Section (SURS), Fraud, Waste and Abuse (FWA) Section, Managed Care Program Integrity, and Medicaid Provider Enrollment. You’ll provide training, education, outreach and reports to a variety of providers and stakeholders. Additionally you will serve as a resource for identifying error trends and root causes, risk analysis, performance improvement, and compliance-related initiatives and special projects, and provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
To be successful in this position , you should be able to build and manage a healthy, collaborative team culture, influence and engage stakeholders, and be able to drive results. You view your work through a compliance lens, have a mindset for continuous quality improvement, and ability to complete tasks with minimal direction. You must be able to analyze raw data, provide strategic interpretation, assess problems, and identify creative solutions. You enjoy organizing and leading projects and drafting procedures and policy. You are experienced in data analysis and Microsoft Office products including advanced skills using Excel.
To be considered for this position , you must have either a bachelor’s degree with a major in business, public, or healthcare administration and six (6) years related professional work experience that involves program administration, process improvement and lead work; OR a master’s degree in one of the fields listed above and four (4) years related professional experience in program administration. Prior supervisory experience is preferred; OR eight (8) years related professional work experience involving program administration, process improvement and lead work.

Location: ND DHHS utilizes a blended workplace model. The Program Integrity Administrator may be remote within the United States a with willingness and ability to travel for occasional in-person meetings.
