A couple of questions for our state counterparts about DME:

1. Do any states have issues/concerns with DME providers especially around high dollar DME items, like powered wheelchairs, etc.

2. Are there any DME suppliers that have stood out in your state?

3. Did your state conduct an audit and did you have findings?

4. Did you use a UPIC or a RAC contractor to do this audit for you?

a. Or did your state handle this audit internally?

We have a couple of providers who really like the high dollar items but we have some concerns about padding prices, etc.
