  • There are several Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) options available. In North Dakota, these providers are called Qualified Service Providers (QSPs), some are family members, some enroll to take care of the general public as individuals or agencies. The goal is to provide services in the least restrictive setting possible; not only allowing the individual to age in their own home and community but also reduce spending by keeping them out of the nursing home.

Available services in ND (based on eligibility) include: Case Management, Adult Day Care, Adult Foster Care, Residential Care, Chore Service, Community Support, Community Transition, Companionship, Environmental Modification, Extended Personal Care, Family Home Care, Family Personal Care, Home Delivered Meals, Homemaker, Non-Medical Transportation, Nursing Assessment, Personal Care, Residential Habilitation, Respite, Specialized Equipment & Supplies, Supervision, Supported Employment and Transitional Living.
