If we become aware of behavior that warrants preclusion (e.g., guilty plea to
selling CDS), we would exclude the PCA and add that person to our Ineligibility
list, regardless of whether CMS has taken action regarding the person.

New Jersey has had a waiver now for about 4 years. The basis of our waiver is centered on the fact that 98% of our recipients are in Managed Health Care as well as other factors.

Hi Dawn,

I don’t think I’ve ever heard or got the impression that SMAs should be paying for a service that is not covered in their State Plan, but rather only for claims that are for already a covered services. Am I missing something or was there guidance that was given that indicates otherwise?
