The 2023 NAMPI Annual Conference in Scottsdale, AZ, is just a few weeks away and we hope you are planning to attend. One of the many great presentations will be panel discussion on how the state Medicaid PI units can work with the Unified Program Integrity Contractors (UPICs). We have a great panel including Sherri McQueen, Peter Leonis and Elizabeth Lindner from CMS CPI, and Lisa Castillo with the Illinois OIG. The panel specifically asked me to reach out to our NAMPI members to see if you have any questions about the UPICs you would like addressed during their presentation. If you hit the drop down menu under my name above, you can respond publicly here in the Forum or you can send me a private response. The panel will do their best to review and answer all questions, but the length of time allotted for the NAMPI session may not necessarily allow for it. This is your chance if you have any questions about the UPIC program.
